A very warm thank you to Las Vegas Locos tight end, Adam Bergen, for taking questions for nearly a half hour on a wide range of topics from Travis Cochran of the Vegas Locos Local's Page. (Click on the title of this article to listen to the interview.)
Over the course of the interview Adam discussed the Locos championship run and what it felt like to be apart of the Premiere Season of the United Football League. In addition, he gave his impressions on the UFL in year two, including the uncertainty and excitement associated with league expansion and the subsequent addition of the Omaha Nighthawks to the Locos schedule. Adam also took the time to discuss the growth of the UFL and its embrace of social media, such as Twitter and Facebook, as well as how he uses these social networking sites to connect with the fans and increase league awareness. He covers a lot more in an interview that is a must-listen for the Locos faithful.
Thank you again to Adam for taking time out of his off season to speak with the Vegas Locos Local's Page. It is always refreshing to meet a professional athlete that is down to earth, dedicated to their craft, and at the same time open to their fans.
Make sure you click on the title of this article and listen to what we hope will be the first of many insightful talks with one of the Locos' outstanding leaders, Adam Bergen.
Good luck to Adam and good luck to the Locos as they look to retain the William Hambrecht Trophy in 2010.
